It’s because of the iceberg nature of shopping carts that people struggle. If you are working with someone to get your shopping cart up and running, spending more than 25% of your time working on “how it looks” means you are either in the fashion industry or something has gone terribly wrong.
As you can see above, spending more than 25% of your time working on the tip of the iceberg, won’t get you very far down the line. If this is happening to you, stop and reconsider your direction. Perhaps write out a web strategy plan. You will be glad you did!
